Nagafela lauds Barclays Bank of Botswana

The Member of Parliament for Letlhakeng West, Filbert Nagafela has commended Barclays Bank of Botswana for its continued efforts to plough back into the community. Mr. Nagafela made the remarks at a ceremony at which Barclays Bank of Botswana was donating computers to Dutlwe, Takatokwane, Maboane and Sesung Primary Schools in the Letlhakeng West constituency at the weekend.

“This gesture is commendable and will go a long way in ensuring young Batswana in the rural assist areas are computer literate and at par with their colleagues in the urban area. This will thus enable them to enhance their life skills. Barclays Bank of Botswana continues to play an important role in the growth of education and ICT growth in Botswana. This was, once again, evidenced by the bank’s donation of computers to Ditshegwane, Salajwe and Letlhakeng Primary Schools last year” said the MP. For their part, the recipients encouraged other company’s to emulate Barclays Bank of Botswana.

According to Mr. Kesegofetse Legwaila, the Bank’s Area Manager Central, Barclays Bank of Botswana is not only committed to providing outstanding banking services to Batswana but is dedicated to positively making a difference in the lives of Batswana.
