- What do I need to do a Cash Deposit transaction?

All you need is your BBE debit card or Barclaycard, and Debit card’s PIN, simply follow the instructions on the screen as you would an ordinary ATM transaction. You will receive two receipts after completing the transactions.  

- Can I use the Cash Deposit machine anytime?

Yes, the Cash Deposit machine is operating 24-hour a day and is available 7 days a week.

- Where are the Cash Deposit machines located?

- What denominations does the Express Deposit machine accept?

The Cash Deposit machine is programmed to accept maximum of 80 bills. Only 10, 20, 50,100 and 200 notes will be accepted on BBE ATMs. The machine does not accept Coins or Cheques.

- Will I be charged a fee for using the Cash Deposit?

No. The service is absolutely free.

- How many bills can I deposit at once?

You may deposit up to 80 bills of any combination of the accepted denominations.

- Is there a minimum number of bills you need to deposit to use the Cash Deposit machine?

You may deposit even one bill of the accepted denominations.

- Do I need to arrange the bills in any particular order?

All the bills should just be simply stacked flat and inserted into the feed entry slot and may be face up or down.

- Does the condition of bills accepted by the Express Deposit machine matter?

For so long as the bills are not badly mutilated the machine will accept them. Bills which are badly mutilated and in poor condition will be rejected by the machine through its reject slot even before they are authenticated. Please ensure the bills do not have any staples, paper clips, rubber bands or any foreign matter on them. These objects would tend to jam and may destroy the machine.

- When do I get credited?

For the Debit card owners- your account is immediately credited upon completion of the deposit process.
For Barclaycard owners- your account will be credited next business day.

- What should I do when I don't get two receipts for my deposit?

First step is to verify if your account has been credited. You may do so by doing a balance inquiry at the ATM or calling the Call Center 16222. If your account has been credited, then there is no problem as the new balance would reflect your deposit. Should the balance not reflect the deposit, please call 16222 or visit the nearest branch and file a customer complaint. The bank will go through a process of reconciliation to verify the deposit. In any case, your cash will be safe since it is inside the vault of the machine.

- What should I do if my cash gets stuck in the machine before transaction is completed?

Same as the above action.

- Can I use the Cash Deposit machine for other transactions?

Yes, the Cash Deposit Machine can also do the following transactions:

- Cash Withdrawal
- Balance Inquiry Transfer of Funds
- Mini Statement
- Cheque Book request
- PIN Change
