The Trophy celebration was held at Barclays Egypt's headquarters and the Trophy moved to Wadi Degla where the club invited its members and a large group of media professionals and their families, as well as the bank's clients and staff, to enjoy an entertainment program provided by the bank. The program included entertainment activities for children as well as for the entire family, such as competitions, matches and a football skills contest. The event allowed all participants to take commemorative photographs with the Trophy as well as enjoying a draw to win exclusive FA Premier League prizes, in addition to a special draw for the media to win a T–shirt signed by the Egyptian footballer Amr Zaki.

Children and families also enjoyed activities such as face painting, contests, football matches and a skills contest.

On the day after its arrival, the Trophy moved to the City Stars shopping mall where the bank also allowed all visitors to take commemorative photographs with the Trophy in addition to organizing a prize draw. The Trophy's last stop was Alexandria where the Sporting Club received it all the day and club members, together with the bank's clients and staff, received the Trophy and enjoyed a special program. A special celebration was also held for Barclays Egypt's clients at the bank's newly opened premier flagship branch in Alexandria.

"We all know how Egyptians love football, particularly the FA Premier League which has the greatest popularity in Egypt especially since there are Egyptian players participating in the League such as Amr Zaki and Mido. We at Barclays are keen on providing opportunities for clients to enjoy this, as the bank hosts the trophy annually and makes every effort towards providing distinguished opportunities such as this for our clients," said Omniya El–Noseiry, Chief Liaison Officer at Barclays Bank Egypt and Middle East.

Omnia El-Noseiry added "in previous years, the trophy's visit was very well received by the Egyptian public, and the number of visitors coming to view the trophy has increased and more people came to have their picture taken with the trophy. Barclays Egypt is committed to bringing to its clients opportunities to participate in this celebration, and we will strive to bring the trophy to Egypt every year to give both the bank's clients and football–loving members of the public opportunities to view and interact with the trophy."

The Barclays Premier League Trophy is one of the most famous symbols in football. Due to its value nobody knows how much it is worth, it was made by Crown Jewellers Aspreys and stands 3 foot 5 inches tall and weighs a whopping 55 lbs.
