The Barclays Bancassurance is a package of financial services aimed at fulfilling the insurance needs of our valued customers. It involves essentially the provision of life assurance products to our customers through our extensive branch and sales centre network.

The services are available at our entire branch network, through Premier Relationship Managers, Microbanking services, Sales Agents and other channels within the bank.

The Family Funeral Plan (FFP)

Immediate cash payout/lump sum benefit to accountholder to cover essential funeral expenses arising from the death of a loved one.

Minimum ages at entry (age last birthday) are :

59 years for accountholder and spouse,
74 years for the parents and parents-in-law.

Three benefit levels at GH¢920, GH¢1,500 and GH¢2,200
Monthly premiums from GH¢4 to GH¢33 depending on cover level and no. of beneficiaries
No medical underwriting required
Claims paid within 48 hours of documentation

The plan is designed to cover the account holder and up to 5 family members. These are spouse, parents and parents-in-law.

The Barclays Education Plan

Assured finance for your children’s future education needs
Minimum age at entry is 18 years, maximum age at entry is 60 years
Minimum term is 7 years and maximum term is 18 years
Minimum premium is GH¢15
Death and Permanent Disability Premium Waiver Benefit
