| Barclaycard Visa Classic |
The Visa Classic card is designed to help you manage your finances better. Put simply, it's the bank in your pocket.
Exclusively aligned to Prestige Plus account holders, the Barclaycard Prestige card is the ultimate reward for being a Prestige customer.
Features / charges:
- No joining fee / currently 100% waived for the Visa Classic
- Annual fees of Kshs 3,000 (currently waived for the first year for the Visa Classic)
- Supplementary fee of Kshs 2,000 per supplementary card on the account
- Not limited to Barclays customers except for Prestige Barclaycard which is for Barclays Prestige Plus account holders only
- Interest FREE period of up to 50 days
NB. One must earn Kshs 10K net per month
Joining Criteria
To qualify for a Barclaycard, you need to:-
- Be aged over 18 yrs
- Earn a regular monthly income
- Own a bank account for over 6 months
- You do not have to bank with Barclays with exceptions of Prestige Barclaycard
- Must be a resident of Kenya
Requirements
- Latest 2 months pay slips
- 3 Months certified latest bank statements
- Address confirmation document e.g. Utility Bill, Driving License, Bank Statements
- Copy of ID and PIN certificate
- If the PIN is indicated on the payslip or any other valid document, you do not have to attach the copy
- All residents of Kenya must produce a copy of ID. If the ID is lost, a police abstract and another form of Identification viz, DL or Passport should be provided
