24 hour access

When you open a Bank Account you will receive a Free debit card which allows you to access your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our cash machines. But that is not all. If you have any other account with Barclays you can also use your card to withdraw cash from that account.

No minimum balance

With a Bank Account, you do not have to maintain a minimum balance in the account. However, you will need to be earning a specified minimum monthly net income. Please contact one of our Personal Bankers for more details.

How to apply

To open a Bank Account, simply complete an application form and hand it over to the Customer Advisor at your nearest Barclays Branch. You will need to show evidence of your identity such as National Identity Card or a valid passport. You will need to produce a copy of your latest utility bill. You will also need a copy of your pay slip or letter from your employer.
