The department is composed of three main departments namely the Corporate Domestic, International Banking Division (offshore) and Asset Finance.  The Division is headed by the Commercial Director Vishuene Vydelingum.

Corporate Domestic caters for the varied banking needs of businesses residing in Mauritius through three main departments namely Large Corporate, Business Banking and Small Enterprises (SME).

Large Corporate serves clients with a turnover of above MUR 350m, Business banking service for the range of a turnover between MUR 60 and MUR 350m, whereas SME handles business with a turnover below MUR 60m.

Barclays Corporate Division is staffed by a dynamic, experienced and innovative team of managers, who cater exclusively for major corporate bodies, spanning a wide section of business enterprise, SMEs, Large Corporates including parastatals and companies listed on the Stock Exchange. It has become a true centre of excellence and we are proud of the partnership service we deliver.

Each corporate customer is served by a named Relationship Manager who can provide local and international information on the market insights, major development projects, advice on matters such as commercial paper issues, syndication and so on. We also serviced in Property Finance, Project Finance, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury Solutions and other banking products.
