Minimum balance required

There is a minimum opening balance on this account and a minimum operating balance. If the balance goes below the minimum operating balance, a monthly fee is charged until the balance is topped up to be above the minimum balance. You will also receive no interest payments during this period.

How to apply

(Simply complete the application form) and hand it over to your Personal Banker at your nearest Barclays branch who will answer any questions you may have.
You will need to show evidence of your identity such as a driving licence, national identification card or a valid passport. You will also need to produce a copy of your latest utility bill.
