Foreign Exchange

Barclay's tresury's commanding control of the market better places it to provide favourable foreign currency pricing to you, with the finest rates of cash, telegraphic transfers and foreign exchange cheques.

Forward Exchange Contracts and Swaps

We also provide prices for derivative products like Forward Contracts and Swaps mainly in Dollar against Uganda shilling.

Fixed Deposits

Barclays provides you with a secure yet profitable way of investing your funds, through its Fixed deposit facility, where we provide the most competitive interest rates.

Government Securities

Barclays is one of the five primary dealers in government securities in Uganda and any Barclays customer can appoint us as their primary dealer for government securities. We can be the channel through which you can submit bids into the primary auction, and transact in the secondary market. We can also help you open a CDS account and buy your securities before maturity.

In a bid to keep our customers abreast of the market both on foreign exchange and money markets, we circulate a daily market brief every morning informing them about the market conditions the previous day.
