Team Achievement of the Year - Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean
Without parents to pay their school fees, orphans living with HIV/Aids at the Taso-Masindi care home in Uganda were unable to study. But Barclays volunteers worked with customers and colleagues to support their education. The team organised fundraising activities, with proceeds covering not just the cost of schooling, uniforms and shoes, but ongoing medical care too.
