Project1
Education in Rwanda

The high cost and low quality of education in Rwanda are leading to high levels of academic failure. UNICEF are trialling new 'best practice' initiatives in 50 schools which will provide a better education environment and complementary education opportunities based on a practical and skills-orientated curriculum for 9-16 year olds. If successful, they will be rolled out to 400 new schools throughout Rwanda.
Project2
Education in Peru

As the majority of lessons in Peru are taught in Spanish, the 20% of children who don't speak Spanish, many from remote rural areas, finish school without knowing how to read or write. This project will reach 7,000 indigenous Peruvian children, improving their future opportunities and quality of life.
Project3
Education in Indonesia

While basic education has seemingly improved in Indonesia over the last 20 years, an estimated two million children are still out of school. UNICEF has developed a project that aims to improve the quality of education delivered to Indonesian children, provide better resources for schools and increase funding for teachers and head teachers.
