Structured Deposits

Structured Deposits give you the opportunity to earn higher returns than in a regular savings account, though you risk getting less or none, but still having the peace of mind that your original capital, at least, will be repaid to you at the end of the term. You should bear in mind that you will not have access to your money during the term.

• Medium-term savings (usually for a term of 3 or 5 years)
• Linked to the performance of an index (such as the FTSE 100*) or a commodity (such as gold)
• Your original capital is guaranteed to be repaid at the end of the term

Of course, no investment is completely risk free, but with a structured deposit your risk is limited to the level of return you’ll receive and the loss of access to your capital – not your initial investment which will be repaid at the end of the term.
