Adeel Khan

Adeel Khan is Head of Global Markets and a member of the Group Executive Committee for Barclays and the Investment Bank Management Team. Based in London, Adeel leads our Credit, Macro, Securitised Products and Equities businesses.

Adeel has held a number of leadership roles since joining Barclays in 2008. Prior to assuming his current position in 2024, he served as Co-Head of Global Markets since 2021, and Global Head of Credit Products since 2014.

Prior to Barclays, Adeel worked at BlueBay Asset Management where he was also a member of the Investment Committee.
Adeel graduated from the London School of Economics with a master’s degree in Finance & Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics. Adeel serves on the Board of Directors of EMpowerUK.
